## Sources
- US Census Geocoder (TIGER/Line): address -> coordinates and census tract
- FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer: flood zone, Special Flood Hazard Area, base flood elevation
- FEMA National Risk Index (census tract; the release used is reported in every response): hazard ratings, national percentiles, annualized frequency, expected annual loss
- Copernicus GLO-30 DEM (Registry of Open Data on AWS): surface elevation
- Global 30m Height Above Nearest Drainage (Registry of Open Data on AWS): height above nearest drainage
- NOAA nClimGrid-Daily county averages (Registry of Open Data on AWS): daily maximum temperature 1981-2024

## Limits
- Observed history and current FEMA ratings only: no forward projections.
- 30-year flood odds are bounds derived from the FEMA zone's annual chance; null where FEMA gives no bound.
- Heat history is a county average (NOAA nClimGrid-Daily), contiguous US only.
- Elevation and HAND come from a 30 m surface model; buildings and trees can distort them in towns.
